Political and social mediation The GERDDES AFRICA carried out political mediations in Coast Ivory, in Togo, in Congo, with Benin, Chad and Niger. He undertook a happy social mediation in the university crisis with Benin, and also of the political mediations at the time of the last presidential elections in Chad and Niger. Activities of mediation are also led to Nigeria, in Liberia, in Burundi and in other countries.
Humanitarian action in Rwanda It is realized by African doctor sending to our expenses for a medical help.
Conferences and training seminars They had as targets the press, the trade unions, the chiefs traditional, the political parties, the women and the soldiers in Africa of l' West, of the Center and Is. An important seminar joined together in 1994 more than 150 African experts for a reflexion on " Monetary future of Africa of l' West and of the Center " following the devaluation of CFA franc Another formation was organized on the management of ONG in Coast Ivory.
Civic training in Democracy, Good governance, Tolerance and Cultur de Paix

Activities of l' observatory of the democracy It acts there; a project; annual evaluation of progress of the democracy, the rights of Man as well as economic development and social through the raising of the level and the quality of the life. This study was carried out in Ghana, Benin, in Central African Republic and in Burkina Faso (1995).
Publications studies and re-examined
" Democracy and Development" is an end-of-term report of connection inter-GERDDES which appears since 1992 in French and English. " Africa Democracy and Development " is a quarterly review of political science which appears since 1994. Many studies and publications were carried out on the democracy and sustainable development in Africa.
Participation in Development of Constitutions The GERDDES AFRICA contributed to development of certain constitutions in Africa (Benin, Guinea)
Project DNA (African Democracy Network): network of ONG, initiated by IRI, whose the GERDDES AFRICA is memberWith these tools the GERDDES AFRICA organized every two years a seminar assessment of the democratic processes in Africa. These seminars made it possible to give a description of the ways traversed as regards governorship and to provide the foundations of the tasks to be achieved. The last seminar of the kind entitled " Assessment and perspective one decade of promotion of the democracy in Africa in the current context " took place with Cotonou of the 16 at May 18, 2002 |
