In the field of the management and prevention of the conflicts, the GERDDES AFRICA set up a specialized structure of prevention of the conflicts called (RANGAPC) “NonGovernmental African Network d' Preventive alarm of the Conflicts in Africa” Project RANGAPC was initiated to officialize the activities of the GERDDES AFRICA in the development a African expertise, in prevention and management of the social conflicts and political. It became an specialized institution of the GERDDES AFRICA CIRD since General meeting of the Group, dated July 17, 1998. A permanent secretariat functions since February 26, 1996 with the head office of the GERDDES AFRICA in Cotonou. Its role is to constitute a data bank of the events of the economic life and social, likely to generate the tearing of the social body, thus a list of people African resources, specialized in the political and social mediations at the national level and in Africa. Within the framework of the implementation of this program and to reach the anticipated results, the following actions are carried out:  |  | Follow-up of evolution socio-policy in the various countries;
| | | Observation of the reactional tendencies for to anticipate the potentially explosive situations;
| | | Sensitizing of the local authorities and the international community on the possible consequences a difficult situation;
| | | Proposal of the actions of correction necessary;
| | | Implication of the civil society and the silent majority so they play a moderating part;
| | | Organization of the regional seminars of training of the managers of social conflicts and policies in Africa just as their periodic recycling;
| | | Availability of the African mediators, the data bank compiled and update regularly.
| The prevention and the management of the conflicts should be developed and systematized with avant-garde, the civil society denouncing all the abnormal behaviors, carrying potential conflicts, they are political, economic or social. |
