SUMMARY

The promotion of democracy lies in the beliefs of western leaders on the historical mission that is theirs to extend the democratic values of freedom and peace in the world. The democratic process appears as a circle of transition from an autocratic regime to a democratic are. But no matter the will of our foreign partners to help in the entrechement of democratic process, the main responsibility for the success of the process rest on the shoulders of Africans.

The participation of Women in Political life does not date of recent. There exist wheres a flagring difference between the economic role of women in development and the role they play in the political and economic sphere. And this, inspite of the numerous moves to institute the party in the field of politics, with regards to the constitutional principle of quality of sexes recognised by the new African fondamental laws. Eventually the avancement of women is the necessary condition for the harmonious development of the society.
